couples Winemaking class
Saturday, June 10th, 2023 in Napa, CA.
What is the Couples Winemaking class? Basically, just the fun parts of winemaking.
For wine lovers who are looking to experience Napa in an immersive day of tasting and exploration of wines, this class is an opportunity to share an exciting day with your partner and learn the art of winemaking. The class will be held in the historic stone winery at Seavey Vineyard. The day will start walking through the vineyard, leading into a tasting and discussion of white wine styles in the winery cellar, including a catered lunch, followed by a hands-on blending seminar with red wines. Making wine may be the intersection of art and science, but this class is designed to celebrate the artistic half of that relationship. No wine experience is necessary.
The recommended packing list includes boots, a hat, a camera, an enthusiasm for wine tasting, and all your wine questions.
This class is hosted by Jim Duane, winemaker at Seavey Vineyard and host of the Inside Winemaking Podcast, which is how most people know about this and other classes that are a part of Inside Winemaking.
Attendance is limited to ten people.
Please email me, Jim Duane, with any questions.
I hope to see you in June for the most fun you’ve had in a long time.
Jim

“Jim, the talented winemaker who leads the classes, has a knack for taking the compmlicated parts of winemaking and making them simple to understand. He’s a patient teacher who packs his classes with fun, learning, and lots of wine. I try to attend his classes anytime I can.” Jon-Michial Carter - Greenville, South Carolina
“Jim’s class was the most fun, educational and eye-opening experience I’ve ever had in the world of wine! We had a backstage look at wine from dirt to the bottle. Jim is an excellent teacher and I left with the felling I understood the complete winemaking process and the intricacies of what goes into the best wines.” Sean McNerney - Arvada, Colorado
